ROZACAN LIDOCAINE 10% TOPICAL SPRAY – 40 mL

Description

A topical anesthetic spray containing Lidocaine, used to provide rapid, temporary anesthesia of the skin or mucous membranes before certain minor medical and diagnostic procedures.

Indications

Use under the supervision of a physician or dentist for:
• Local anesthesia before certain minor dental and superficial surgical procedures.
• Anesthesia of the oral, nasal, and pharyngeal mucous membranes before certain medical examinations or procedures.
• Reducing pain and suppressing the gag reflex during certain diagnostic procedures.
• Pain relief during suturing of certain postpartum wounds.

Directions for Use

Spray directly onto the area to be anesthetized as directed by a physician, using the lowest effective dose.
Do not use repeatedly or over large areas except under medical supervision.

Contraindications and Warnings

• Do not use if allergic to Lidocaine or other amide-type local anesthetics.
• Use in children only when prescribed by a physician.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and do not spray into the ears.
• Do not apply to extensive wounds or severely inflamed tissues except under medical supervision.
• Inform your physician if you have liver disease, heart disease, epilepsy, or respiratory disorders.
• Do not eat or drink until numbness of the mouth or throat has completely resolved.
• Avoid swallowing the product.

Overdose

Overuse may cause dizziness, numbness around the mouth, tinnitus, blurred vision, irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, or seizures.
Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if these symptoms occur.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use only after consulting a physician.

Storage

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from heat, direct sunlight, and open flames.
Keep out of reach of children.
